Big in Japan – Walter Steiger “Ishi” wedge

March 8, 2011 § Leave a comment

Walter Steiger “Ishi” wedge for Albert Kriemler’s Akris Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The wedge is inspired by Kriemler’s recent trip to Japan, as “ishi” is Japanese for “stone”. Walter Steiger was inspired by “the sensation of standing without shoes on a round stone”.
